You will notice a marked improvement in your smile’s colour with our concentrated formulas that are gentle and safe. Choose between a same-day single visit treatment or a kit that you bring home but be sure to make an appointment for an exam/consultation with our dentist to see you are a suitable candidate for whitening.
Veneers are another alternative to rapidly brighten your smile in just a couple of visits. Dental veneers are thin custom made porcelain or composite overlays that are attached securely over only the front surfaces of teeth , unlike crowns that cover the whole tooth. They provide better aesthetics, improving the shade of discoloured teeth, close up gaps and correcting mild crowding of front teeth. They are a cosmetic restoration that mask the small imperfections and flaws in your smile, transforming enamel into straighter, fuller and whiter in two visits.
How do Veneers Help?
It’s possible to conceal or reduce the signs of imperfect teeth with custom
- Spaces between teeth
- Minor crowding
- Uneven enamel
- Chipped edges
- Discolouration and deep staining
Veneers differ from dental crowns as they only cover the outside front surfaces of your teeth instead of the entire surface. The margins are kept hidden as they gently wrap around the edges of the teeth. Because they are cosmetic, you can’t have them for large cavities, fractures or after root canal treatment.
Treatment Planning for you
An initial evaluation and consultation is required prior to getting the veneers done for you. Discussions between you and the dentist will include how many teeth are involved and how you want your smile to look like. Usually six to ten teeth will be required and will advise you the cost accordingly.
Once the treatment plan is agreed upon, an appointment will be made whereby the teeth are prepared by trimming the enamel surface to make enough space for the veneers to be bonded so they won’t feel too bulky. An impression will be taken and sent to the lab for fabrication by a lab technician. After about two weeks, you’ll need to return to our clinic to have the porcelain veneers bonded into place.
What About Composite Veneers?
Composite veneers are a type that can be completed in one day on the same visit. They are indicated when for only one or two problematic teeth, rather than numerous ones across your entire smile. The composite material is bonded directly to the tooth surface and cured into place, instantly masking any aesthetic flaws.

Crowns & Bridges
If you are unhappy about the way your teeth smile is shaped, the good news is that crowns and bridges can restore broken, worn, decayed or missing teeth back to its function and improve your smile. Fortunately, it only takes 2 visits to complete.
A crown (also known as a cap) is a restoration that is used when badly
decayed or broken tooth can’t be repaired with a filling. It is placed over teeth to prevent the remaining structure from breaking apart during everyday use. It covers the whole tooth up to the gum tissue. Your crown is made of Custom-matched ceramic material, making it less noticeable when you’re around other people. Crowns are typically recommend after root canal treatments, on top of dental implants and when there is a large fracture or cavity.
You can replace missing teeth with a bridge if there are healthy teeth on either side of the space. Getting a bridge is a rather straightforward process to restore your smile. Bridges extend the width of the gap, anchored at each end with a built in crown that covers the supporting teeth. Similar to crowns, your bridge is made of porcelain that matches the natural colour of your teeth.
Dental implants are restorations that mimic the function and appearance of natural teeth and are indicated when you have missing teeth. They are strong enough to support multiple teeth as they are set in bone with a fixed restoration placed on top. Regardless how many teeth are missing, dental implants can be the right choice for you
Advantages of Dental Implants
Dental implants offer superior benefits over other forms of treatment to
replace missing teeth which include:
- Feel like natural teeth
- Predictable success rate
- Suitable for restoring single or multiple missing
- Adjacent teeth are preserved in their natural states
- Provide anchor support for prosthesis (denture)
What sets it apart from other treatment options is that you can avoid having to insert and remove oral appliances daily or trimming down healthy adjacent teeth.
Types of Implant Restorations
The dental implant fixture represents the “root” portion of your missing tooth, therefore you’ll need a fixed restoration over it, attached by an abutment. A crown is needed for single missing tooth, while a dental bridge for wider spaces of several missing teeth. A kind of denture, called an overdenture, can also be secured over several implants for extra support.
What to Expect During Your Implant Surgery
It is a relatively straightforward oral surgical procedure whereby only a small amount of local anaesthesia is required for you to feel comfortable. As compared to a tooth extraction, the recovery after implant surgery is much easier and simpler. Most patients don’t report any discomfort right after the surgery.
